EWFA is very happy to announce that it is finishing 2018 very successfully, whether in terms of events organisation, membership development or activities achieved throughout the year.
Indeed, EWFA organised a Networking Event on Thursday 1st November at the heart of the SEMA Show, the main automotive specialty products trade event in the world held in Las Vegas. This event attracted about fourty high-level participants from the window film industry around the world and allowed participants to network in a privileged environment, making this Networking Lunch a unique event representing the whole sector at the SEMA Show.
About a month later, the EWFA Annual Membership Meeting was held in Rome (Italy) on 28th November and consolidated this success with about thirty-five member and non-member participants coming from all over Europe to listen to the EWFA very positive annual results and to presentations in the fields of plastics use and energy efficiency, CE marking for window films and construction products, building and renovation regulatory frameworks in Europe or public representation practices at European level. At the occasion of this Annual Membership Meeting, a short Distributors Meeting was also held on the afternoon, allowing distributors to voice their ideas and concerns to be addressed in the EWFA strategic plan for 2019.
EWFA is glad to have seen its membership increase regularly this year, with a growing interest in the organisation’s activities from stakeholders and partners. 2019 will be the year of consolidation, not only continuing on publishing technical papers, monitoring legislations, providing knowledge through webinars or newsletters, or representing EWFA at international events, but also developing its social media, getting more representation presence at national level to support window film interests or increasing the organisation’s visibility internationally through partnerships.
