New IWFA Personal Point-of-View Blog By Darrel Smith

Washington, DC – November 13, 2013 – The International Window Film Association (IWFA) is now sharing its deep knowledge about window film in a new blog by one of the world’s foremost experts on window film, IWFA Executive Director, Darrell Smith.

“Few people have more knowledge about window film and all that it offers than Darrell Smith, and we are delighted he is going to share his expertise gathered from a wide range of industry sources in this new blog,” said John Parker, president of the IWFA. “Working both on behalf of and within the window film industry for 35 years, Smith’s general knowledge is unsurpassed,” he added.

The blog, called “My View,” shares Smith’s industry expertise and public affairs insights covering a range of window film topics, from installation success stories to tax-credits and rebates to new studies that demonstrate the many benefits of window film.

“I look forward to sharing personal perspectives on these topics and more in ‘My View’,” said Executive Director of the IWFA, Darrell Smith. “Few products represent the combined benefits of a smaller carbon footprint, the potential for reduced energy use, a healthier environment, long-lasting installations and all for a comparatively low-cost, which is why I am so proud to be part of this industry,” said Smith.
