The Window Film’s Industry Momentum Grows With Regional Conference Event and Bi-Monthly Publication

Washington, DC — December 12, 2013 – With the popularity of window film expanding rapidly based on its wide recognition as a cost-effective solution to energy savings, as well as the reduction of the impact of harmful solar rays, the International Window Film Association has developed two direct avenues of advancing the education of window film professionals.

The first avenue for educating the profession is the recent introduction of a preeminent online magazine for unbiased information that offers factual and feature rich content that impacts the industry. The December / January 2014 issue can be found at www.iwfa.com. Called The IWFA View, the free bi-monthly publication offers business and industry articles that can be found nowhere else.

The next avenue for educating the industry is a Regional Conference and Competitions event being held in the Dallas area from February 28 – March 2, 2014 at the Arlington Texas Convention Center and Sheraton Hotel. The theme for the event is ‘Go-For The Gold Standard’. This theme reflects the belief that nowhere else can industry professionals receive accurate and unbiased information straight from the source.

The regional conference program agenda includes IWFA Testing and Accreditation; and competition prequalification rounds on Friday; on Saturday are hard-hitting presentations, industry booth exhibits, competition finals, an evening networking event with competition results. On Sunday, the event will run until NOON and offers ‘must attend’ seminars.

The competitions offer cash prizes in the categories of automotive, architectural (flat glass) & Paint Protection Film (PPF). The prizes are for First Place: $2,500 plus a trophy, Second Place: $1,000 plus a plaque and Third Place: $500 plus a plaque. For more information and registration visit: www.iwfa.com.
