Celebrate National Window Film Day All Year, and Get Ready to Save Energy, Cut Costs and Enjoy Your Home More Completely

April showers bring May flowers and we’re thrilled to welcome the spring season with a bang in the window film industry. First of all I want to personally thank consumers, our industry professionals and elected officials that have recently gone above-and-beyond in publicly acknowledging and recognizing the powerful benefits that professionally installed window film delivers.

The IWFA appreciates the many official proclamations that have recently been made that officially marked April 30th as National Window Film Day, a day of public education focusing on this cost-effective solution for saving energy costs in homes, protecting skin and home decor from the sun’s damaging UV rays and promoting window safety.

Window film is an important solution and we could not be more pleased about leaders taking the initiative to get the word out to consumers.

Window Film is a solution that addresses a myriad of challenges that nearly every homeowner or building manager in America faces. From creating and maintaining a comfortable consistent interior temperature to preventing UV damage from sun through windows, to finding new ways to save on energy costs – window film delivers.

So as we look at warmer months coming in the near future – now is the time to get in touch with a local accredited window film dealer. The Farmer’s Almanac was pretty much spot-on in its prediction for the winter we all just experienced and we’re seeing an outlook for a hotter then usual summer.  Especially if you use air-conditioning in the summer on a regular basis – you won’t want to miss what window film can do for your comfort, for the environment and for your wallet!
