Window Film and Your Car

The application of window film to a car not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also elevates its functionality. With a sleek and uniform tint, the windows exude a modern and sophisticated look, lending an air of elegance to the vehicle’s exterior. Beyond mere aesthetics, the film serves practical purposes by reducing glare, enhancing privacy, and shielding occupants from harmful UV rays. This combination of style and utility transforms the car into a refined and comfortable space.

UV Protection

Americans spend almost 300 hours a year in their vehicles. Glass does not screen UVA which has been shown to be a significant contributor to skin aging and skin cancer. Help save your family’s skin by installing quality window film.

Heat Control

The sun beating through a car’s windows can make the occupant feel hot and turn on the air conditioner. Be more comfortable and help save fuel by installing heat rejecting window films.

Glare

Long drives can lead to hours of squinting. Installing window film may reduce eyestrain and make the drive more comfortable.

Legality

In the United States, states regulate window film use on automobiles. Most laws stipulate the amount of visible light transmission (VLT) that pass through the windows. The higher the percentage of VLT; the lighter the film. A 70 percent window film is nearly clear to the naked eye, while a 15 percent window film would appear nearly black from the exterior and make it difficult to see through the glass. Consumers should be familiar with local laws that govern vehicle window films before making a decision on installation.
