IWFA Elects Board of Representatives, Officers for 2026
Washington, D.C. – February 28, 2025 – Recently, the IWFA held its first Board of Directors meeting of the 2026 calendar year and finalized the slate of representatives to the Board and its Officers. This Board, made up of volunteers from around the window film industry, serves as the voice of the association around the world. The Board is comprised of individuals from the Manufacturers, Distributors, and Dealers membership categories. These leaders are elected by the membership to guide the association’s strategic direction, establish policies, oversee industry committees, and are the outreach arm for the IWFA. From trade show participation to policy decisions, the Board is the decision maker for the IWFA.
The current IWFA Board of Directors includes a diverse group of executives and experts from prominent companies across the window film supply chain. Leadership roles include President Steve Fricker of Protint, Vice-President Michelle Hurtado of Sal’s House of Tint, Treasurer Adam Feldman of Advanced Film Solutions, and Secretary Jonathan Thompson of Sunsational Solutions. Other at large Dealer members include Kristy Yelle (Palmetto Protection Films), Abe Rodriguez (Accurate Tint). Our Distributor representative this year is Carlos Alvarez (XPEL.)
Other board members hold chairs in important committees. The Manufacturers Committee is led by Hilary Thomas (Eastman), Communications & Education by Cassandra Yu (Avery Dennison), Technical & Standards Peter Elliott (3M), and both Government & Advocacy and Alliances & Membership chaired by Lawrence Constantin (Madico.)
Other Manufacturer members for this term include representatives from global manufacturers such as Reflek Technologies (Christopher Hopman), Saint Gobain (Steve Schroer), Profilm (Geroge Li), STEK (Natalia Dasadova), Suzhou Jinlan Nano Technologies (Paul Wu), KDX (Vic Wang), Shichuang Optics (Hong Shen Zhang), and Jiangsu Aerospace Sanyou Technology (Rain Liu).
In addition to the Board the IWFA’s office staff led by Executive Director Darrell Smith, who is entering his 29th with the IWFA, serves the Board and the IWFA membership. As always, the mission of the Board is to broaden the horizon for window films and their applications. The IWFA holds elections annually in November for Board selections from candidates nominated by the membership. Be on the lookout in the autumn months for announcements pertaining to the election, so you can nominate either yourself or another member of the community for the IWFA Board of Directors.
