Washington, D.C. – Oct 9, 2025 The 2025 International Window Film Conference & Tint‑Off: The Premiere Industry Gathering
From the perspective of the International Window Film Association (IWFA), this year’s Window Film Conference and Tint-Off in Reno, Nevada was another great step forward in advancing the dialogue around Window Films and the emerging technologies to come. This year’s conference gave the IWFA the opportunity to expand its message to a broader section of Dealers than normal. Situated in the western half of the United States, this show gave the IWFA opportunity to converse with a group who may not find themselves at the east coast venues that have been featured the past two years. Executive Director Darrell Smith stated “Window film doesn’t stop at the Rockies! It is always nice to make our way to the west coast, and to see the showcase of talent and diversity that exists in this industry in different parts of the country.”
As always, IWFA was proud to host IWFA Education Day on September 10, and from the onset, it was evident the topics were popular with attendees. Education Day featured five different seminars, focusing on topics ranging from Safety Films to our Dealer Roundtable allowing audience members to ask the panel questions pertaining to growing their own businesses. Executive Director Darrel Smith stated after Education Day “The IWFA strives to give members content they can use in their businesses, not only as a tool, but as a resource. The hope is for attendees to leave with more knowledge than they came with, no matter the session they attend.”
The IWFA also expanded its Networking Event in a way that had not been seen before. The event (exclusive to IWFA members) featured free professional headshot photographs for members to use. This was a big hit among attendees and highlighted the Member’s Action Committee (MAC) mantra of “Develop as a Dealer.” The IWFA looks to have more activities of the same type at future WFCT venues.
Another great addition to the show was the first of its kind giveaway from the IWFA and EDTM. The IWFA is grateful to have partnered with EDTM to give a new state-of-the-art multi-measurement fenestration meter to an IWFA member at the Networking Event. The winner, Nathan Burks of TN Tint joined the IWFA as a member at the show the same day was immediately entered into the drawing. Mark Imbrock, Vice President of EDTM, recalled meeting Nathan earlier in the day at their booth, and recounted “he spent at least an hour at our booth learning about the meter and was adamant he would win it. Lo and behold, he did!” The IWFA would like to thank both EDTM and all our members who made the giveaway possible.
The IWFA looks forward to seeing everyone in San Antonio next year, and as always, be on the lookout for information for IWFA events, including Education Day, the Networking Event, and booth details.
